Bonita Estero Rail Trail

The Bonita Estero Rail Trail, known as BERT, is a proposed multi-use trail along an unused rail corridor through Bonita Springs and Estero. Friends of BERT’s current overview describes an 11.4-mile route from Wiggins Pass Road to Estero Parkway.

The proposal connects to the broader Florida Gulf Coast Trail vision. For current maps and development information, use Friends of BERT’s resources rather than relying on older route descriptions.
